Man Charged With Shooting of Silver Spring Man

Rohan Campbell of Washington DC has been charged in the death of Silver Spring man Mark Anthony Ray outside an apartment building in East Silver Spring on Friday, 8/24/07.

Campbell has been charged with first degree murder and the use of a handgun on commission of a felony.

According to police, no motive has been identified and there are no other suspects in the case.

Ray was found around 11:15pm on Friday night lying on the sidewalk outside the Silver Spring Towers apartment building suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper part of his body. He died later that night at the hospital.
